DPRK's Successful H-bomb Test Hailed by Russian Figure

Pyongyang, January 8 (KCNA) -- The DPRK proved successful in its first H-bomb test and thus demonstrated the might of the single-minded unity with which all the service personnel and people are close rallied around Marshal Kim Jong Un, strong national power and sci-tech potentials of socialist Korea far and wide.

Viktor Yegorov, chairman of the Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia, said this in a statement on Jan. 7.

He went on:

By proving greatly successful in its H-bomb test the DPRK proudly joined the ranks of nuclear weapons states having even H-bomb.

H-bomb test conducted by the DPRK is a self-defensive measure of a sovereign state for creditably defending the country's sovereignty and vital right of the nation from the nuclear threat of the U.S. and other hostile forces and reliably ensuring peace on the Korean Peninsula and regional security.

The Karelia-DPRK Friendship Association of Russia extends warm congratulations to the leadership, scientists and all other people of the DPRK.
