Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, and other persons said the New Year Address serves as important guidelines that indicated the way for the Korean people to register bigger successes in their struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and achieving national reunification this year when the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) is to be held.

They expressed their will to positively support the just struggle of the Korean people for achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

Nikolai Polishk, chairman of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, said the Seventh Congress of the WPK to be held in the DPRK will be the one of victors.

Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, read out the address and said the address is an important work that indicated the road to be covered by the world progressives opposed to the imperialists.
