Kim Jong Un's New Year Address Studied Abroad

Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- Reading sessions on Marshal Kim Jong Un's New Year Address were held by the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo and the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society on January 4 and 5. Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea of DR Congo, said that the global progressive peoples and adherents to the Juche idea are convinced the Korean people will achieve great successes in their struggle for ushering in the golden age in building a thriving nation this year. Jon Arni Halldorsson, general secretary of the Iceland-DPRK Friendship and Cultural Society, noted that Kim Jong Un clearly indicated the ways for the economic construction and peaceful reunification of the country in his New Year Address. He went on: The south Korean authorities should set store by the agreements common to the nation such as the three principles for national reunification and declarations between the north and the south, giving up the attitude towards mistrust and confrontation, and positively come out for the improvement of the inter-Korean relations on the basis of it. The progressive people of Iceland will as ever extend firm support and solidarity to the Korean people in their just struggle for building an economic power and achieving the independent and peaceful reunification of the country. |
