Humiliating "Agreement" between S. Korea and Japan Protested by Overseas Koreans
Pyongyang, January 10 (KCNA) -- Overseas Koreans launched protest actions in 45 regions of 12 countries on Jan. 6 to condemn the south Korean and Japanese authorities for their illegal "agreement", political collusion over the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

The actions were staged as a world action for solidarity with the 1212th Wednesday rally held outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on the same day.

Members of the American Action for Just Solution to Issue of Sexual Slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army held a rally and demonstration outside the Japanese embassy in Washington.

Members of the New York Meeting for Hope-filled World held a rally before the Japanese Consulate General in New York and made a protest march.

Koreans in Los Angeles held a candlelight cultural event for proper solution to the issue of sexual slavery.

An address for solidarity of human rights activists of different countries was read out at the event.

Korean women in Japan held a rally in Tokyo to demand the settlement of the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

There also took place rallies denouncing the "agreement" in Germany, UK, Canada and other countries of the world.
