Officials of ministries and national institutions including the Ministry of Electric Power Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Light Industry and the State Science and Technology Commission gathered at Kim Il Sung Square. A speech was made by Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea. Then the officials, divided into two groups, ran towards Mansudae Street and Pyongyang Grand Theater.

The group running was followed by demonstration performances of mass rhythmic exercise and Taekwon-do exercise for health.

Colorful sports games took place at industrial establishments in Pyongyang including the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex.
