Three Principles for National Reunification, North-South Declarations Supported Abroad
Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Figures of Iran and Austria issued statements on January 4 and 5, supporting the part dealing with the issue of Korea's reunification of Marshal Kim Jong Un's New Year Address.

The chairman of the Al Hadi Islam Propaganda Organization of Iran said that Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, set forth peace-loving and independent line and policy for achieving peace and security on the Korean Peninsula and carrying out the cause of reunification in his New Year Address.

The chairman wished that north and south of Korea would value agreements common to the nation including the three principles for national reunification and the north-south declarations and pave the way of improving the inter-Korean relations on the basis of them.

A member of the leadership of the Vienna, 21 County Committee of the Communist Party of Austria said:

The Korean reunification is the most urgent and vital task for the Korean nation.

The above-said principles and declarations are the most fair and aboveboard programmes for reunification as they reflect all Koreans' desire and wishes for reunification.

We urge the south Korean authorities not to pursue the unilateral "unification of social systems" contrary to the trend toward inter-Korean dialogue and improved relations.

The south Korean authorities should stop staging dangerous war exercises in collusion with the U.S. every year to escalate the tension on the Korean Peninsula.

The U.S. should unconditionally meet the DPRK's demand for defusing the danger of war, easing the tension and creating a peaceful climate on the peninsula.
