Foreign Crewmen Meet
Pyongyang, January 11 (KCNA) -- Foreign crewmen held meetings at Nampho and Wonsan ports Monday to hail the DPRK's success in its first H-bomb test.

The participants laid floral baskets and bouquets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Nampho and Wonsan cities and paid tribute to them.

Speeches were made at the meetings held by captains and crewmen of the Panama-flagged ships Oupulai 18, Sapai, Kiribati-flagged ship New Global.

The speakers warmly congratulated the Korean people on the success in the first H-bomb test, saying that the DPRK proudly joined the advanced nuclear weapons states, an exercise of a legitimate self-defensive right of a sovereign state and just and aboveboard measure.

The DPRK's such tremendous military capability is ascribable to the iron-willed grit and pluck and Songun politics of Marshal Kim Jong Un who is creditably carrying forward the intention of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, they noted.

Expressing belief that the Korean people would make big progress in their sacred struggle to protect their independent rights, the speakers extended firm solidarity to them in their struggle to ward off a war and defend peace.

Letters to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings.
