Displayed at the venue of the exhibition were portraits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and photos showing the personalities of the great men of Mt. Paektu.

"Great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung during the period when he brought up young revolutionaries in the new generation while cultivating the Juche line of the Korean revolution" and other photos deal with the exploits he performed by establishing the tradition of the Juche-oriented youth movement and bringing up the young people to be masters of new Korea.

"Great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il handing torches of revolution to members of young vanguard" and other photos deal with his great personality of training the young people to be successors to the Juche-oriented revolution.

"Great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung among the participants in the New Year's eve performance for 1994" and "Great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il providing field guidance to the Samjiyon Schoolchildren's Palace" and other photos show their great personalities.

Photos displayed include "Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un delivering a historic speech at the ceremony marking the completion of Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station" and "Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un watching the torchlight procession of members of the young vanguard."

Among the photos on display are those showing the first ranks of vanguard fighters of the Young Communist League who held Kim Il Sung in high esteem as the great leader and the young people who performed feats in building monumental structures of the Paektusan youth powerhouse.

Present at the opening ceremony were Ri Il Hwan, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league, youth and students.

An opening speech was made by Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the youth league.
