Displayed at the venues of the events were works of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un and books and photos introducing the struggle of the Korean people.

Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, said that the group would extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for implementing the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address this year when the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held.

Anders Kristensen, chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, said that Kim Jong Un's New Year Address served as important guidelines indicating the way of the struggle of the Korean people for building a thriving nation and achieving the reunification of the country. He noted:

In his New Year Address Kim Jong Un raised the economic development and the improvement of the people's living standard as important tasks and clarified the ways for improving the inter-Korean relations and achieving the peaceful reunification of the country on the basis of the three principles of national reunification and the north-south declarations.
