DPRK's Proposals for National Reunification Supported by Political Figures of UK, Ghana
Pyongyang, January 12 (KCNA) -- Political figures of the UK and Ghana issued statements on Jan. 5 and 6 in support of the New Year Address made by Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Michael Chant, general secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist), said that very just are the proposals for Korea's reunification and foreign policy of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government clarified by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address.

The address makes one know well that the issue of Korea's reunification is a very urgent task of the Korean nation and it is linked with the issue of defending peace on the Korean Peninsula, he noted, adding: The U.S. should conclude a peace treaty with the DPRK.

The deputy general secretary of the National Democratic Congress of Ghana said:

HE Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the DPRK, in his New Year Address clarified the stand of the DPRK government on improving north-south relations and reunifying the country.

The proposals for national reunification clarified by him are the most fair and aboveboard and reasonable proposals to ensure durable peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and region.

Fully supporting the principled stand of the party and government of the DPRK, I am convinced that the Korean people will check all challenges by the anti-reunification forces and realize the reunification of the country without fail under the banner of By Our Nation Itself.
