Speakers strongly denounced the authorities for concluding in hasty the humiliating "agreement", paying no heed to the voices of the victims and people who had demanded a proper liquidation of the crimes related to sexual slavery.

The authorities should totally nullify the "agreement" aimed at building the U.S.-Japan-south Korea triangular military alliance, they said.

At the end of the rally the participants staged a demonstration.

Meanwhile, civic and public organizations in Kwangju held a similar rally before the statue of girl outside the Kwangju City Office on the same day.
