A ceremony of presenting artillery pieces Chongnyon Jonwi took place at Hamhung Square Tuesday.

Present there were Thae Jong Su, chief secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, service personnel and school youth and children.

Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the C.C., the youth league, made an address to be followed by speeches.

They said that artillery pieces reflected the faith of the young people to remain true to the Songun leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea as vanguard and their patriotic resolution to make a positive contribution to the country's defense capability, small as it may be.

At the end of the ceremony, artillery pieces left for units of the KPA amid send-off by school youth and children and people in the city.
