Present there were officials of the local party and power bodies, working people's organizations, factories, enterprisers, farms and universities, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, working people, youths and students.

The statement of the DPRK government was read out and congratulatory speeches were made at the meetings.

Speakers recalled that under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il the DPRK emerged the world's military power and nuclear weapons state and that today it has proudly joined the advanced nuclear weapons states having access to H-bomb under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un. They went on:

By having access to H-bomb, the DPRK has come to step up creation and construction to realize the people's dreams and ideals, backed by powerful nuclear force.

They called for steadily achieving world-startling successes like an H-bomb of Songun Korea and thereby glorifying this year when the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea is to be held as a year of gigantic struggle for ushering in a golden age in building a thriving nation.
