In his New Year address the supreme leader stressed that leading sectors of the nation's economy should make a breakthrough in building an economic giant. He also called for strengthening the politico-military might of the DPRK in every way, adhering to the principle of giving priority to self-development in building a thriving nation and ensuring that the people enjoy the highest quality of civilization on the highest level.
