According to the results of opinion poll conducted by the south Korean paper Kukmin Ilbo on January 8, a majority of respondents said no to the "agreement" between south Korea and Japan over the issue of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

A negative opinion prevailed within the ruling and opposition parties.

The respondents denounced shameless Japan and the humiliating attitude of the south Korean authorities.
