The Youth Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in DR Congo said in its statement on Jan. 8:

We congratulate and support the DPRK's first successful H-bomb test.

The DPRK's H-bomb test is clearly a just measure for self-defense for thoroughly defending the country's sovereignty and national right to existence from the increasing nuclear threat by the hostile forces led by the U.S. and reliably ensuring peace in the Korean Peninsula and regional security.

The U.S. should halt its moves for stifling the DPRK at once.

On the same day, the Pupils and Students Federation of DR Congo sent a congratulatory message to the DPRK embassy in Kinshasa. The message said:

We extend warm congratulations to the DPRK on its successful H-bomb test and sincerely wish the DPRK bigger success in its struggle for smashing the outsiders' moves to stifle it and safeguarding its sovereignty and peace.
