An increasing number of people, school youth and children, foreigners and overseas compatriots have visited the ski resort since its opening in December, Juche 102 (2013). Last year its number reached nearly 2.4 times that in 2014.

Ski courses that run down from and around Taehwa Peak 1 360 odd meters above the sea level provide ideal conditions for the winter sports tourist acts, drawing a lot of working people and school youth and children.

The hotel serves such specialties as rice topped with edible herbs, Masikryong anise Kimchi, Masikryong stir-fried bracken, Masikryong liquor and Masikryong fruit-flavored cream.
