S. Korean Online Paper Accuses Chief Executive of Misrepresenting Demand of Victims of Sexual Slavery
Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean online paper Voice of People posted an editorial titled "The president misrepresents demand of old women, comfort women victims" on Jan. 14.

The editorial said the present chief executive of south Korea lauded the humiliating agreement on the issue of the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army as "the best agreement that the preceding regimes failed to conclude" and complained about the criticism made by the victims and other people of all social standings at the press conference for the new year.

The victims have demanded the Japanese government admit the responsibility for the sexual slavery and make an official apology and state reparation, the editorial noted, and went on:

Such an ambiguous phrase as "army was involved" is far from the admittance of the state responsibility.

The present chief executive at the press conference made a total misrepresentation of the essence of the solution of the issue of sexual slavery, the admittance of the state responsibility and reparation by Japan.
