Attending it were students of Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun Conservatory.

They displayed their artistic talents as well as the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's unique idea of art education in the contest, divided into vocal music, traditional instrument solo and ensemble sections.

The contest marked a good occasion in training students into able artistes.
