Present at the meeting were personages of the Finnish Communists' League, the Finland-Korea Society and the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea and other people.

Juha Kieksi, chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said:

The DPRK has access to the strongest military deterrent capable of firmly defending the sovereignty of the country from the imperialists' moves to stifle it and has achieved miraculous successes in the drive for building an economic power and improving the people's standard of living under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un.

The Korean people have turned out in the drive to carry out the tasks set forth by Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address and greet the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea with unprecedented labor feats.

They are working hard to improve the inter-Korean relations and achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country.

The Finnish progressives will intensify the movement for supporting the just cause of the Korean people.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
