U.S., S. Korean Authorities Slammed for Moving to Escalate Confrontation with DPRK

Pyongyang, January 18 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Jan. 12 denouncing the U.S. and the south Korean authorities for their confrontation racket against the DPRK.

The hostile forces, taken aback by the DPRK's first successful H-bomb test, are provoking it, the statement said, and went on:

The DPRK's first H-bomb test is aimed at self-defence from A to Z.

The U.S. has turned south Korea into its nuclear outpost in wanton violation of the Armistice Agreement in the 1950s.

It has deployed many nuclear weapons in its military bases in south Korea.

So, it has no justifications to slander the DPRK's H-bomb test.

The DPRK is watching the hostile provocations by the U.S. and south Korean warmongers and will take corresponding measures.

The statement condemned the provocations of the hostile forces against the DPRK and demanded the U.S. stop deploying weapons in south Korea and withdraw its forces from south Korea.
