Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Czech Republic

| Pyongyang, January 19 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Prague on January 13. Jaroslav Kafka, chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold colorful political and cultural events such as seminar, lecture and photo exhibition in the capital city and local areas on the occasion of the 74th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il. |
