Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on January 15. Alexandr Gromov, first secretary of the Khabarovsk Territorial Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events for praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasions. |
