The statement said:

It is of special significance to our party that the DPRK made a success in the first H-bomb test at the present time when the global peace and security are under grave threat due to the imperialists' continued war rackets against the progressive countries.

The imperialist powers with nuclear weapons fuss about the H-bomb test conducted by socialist Korea for bolstering up the national defence, taking a hypocritical approach to it.

The U.S., being the sole country that used A-bombs and that is taking on the most aggressive nature, resorts to vicious threats and provocations against socialist Korea in a desperate effort to maintain its position as the "world's only superpower".

Our party sends a militant salute to the DPRK government and people.
