Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Spain

| Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- A Spanish preparatory committee for celebrating the 74th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Madrid on Jan. 15. Alejandro Cao de Benos, chairman of the Korean Friendship Association headquartered in Spain, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il and significantly hold various political and cultural functions including a meeting and seminar. |
