Day of Sun, Dad Shining Star to Be Marked in Nepal

| Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- A Nepalese preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Day (birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il) took place in Kathmandu on Jan. 16. C. P. Mainali, deputy prime minister who doubles as minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare and general secretary of the Central Committee of the Nepal Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), was elected as chairperson of the committee. The committee decided to conduct activities for adding shine to the great revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. |
