The site bears witness to the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by liberating the country and reflects the indomitable fighting spirit of the Korean people who ushered in the new era of national liberation struggle in colonies, holding him in high esteem as the center of unity and leadership.

Marshal Kim Jong Un visited the site in Jan. Juche 103 (2014) and recollected the President's undying feats and urged all the service personnel and people to cherish more deeply the unshakable revolutionary faith of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners who made a long journey of bloody battles following the President.

Over the past two years, it drew an endless stream of visitors of over 940 units including units of the People's Army, Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, Kim Il Sung University, Namhung Youth Chemical Complex, Anju Pump Factory and Songhak Cooperative Farm in Anju City.
