State Commendations Awarded to Persons of Distinguished Services

| Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- State commendations were awarded to the officials, scientists, technicians and workers who performed labor feats in the project for constructing the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station No. 1 and No. 2. The Order of Kim Il Sung went to Pak Chan Yong, the title of DPRK labor hero to 36 persons such as Ri Hang Jun and Kim Sang Min, Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize to 43 persons and Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize to 42. The title of Merited Designer was awarded to three persons, title of Merited Scientist to one person, title of Merited Builder to 4 persons, title of Merited Driver to 5 persons, Order of National Flag First Class to 169 persons, Order of Labour to 76 persons, Order of National Flag Second Class to 1,169 persons, Order of National Flag Third Class to 2,607 persons, Distinguished Military Service Medal to 6 persons and Medal of Merit to 3,285 persons. The Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly issued a relevant decree on Jan. 6. |
