Day of Shining Star to Be Marked by Communist Party of Germany

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated by the Communist Party of Germany on Jan. 21. Chairman of the party Torsten Schoevitz was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize significant political and cultural events such as a meeting, seminar, round-table talks and film show from Jan. 21 to Feb. 16 to mark the 74th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il. |
