Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Italy

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- An Italian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Milano on Jan. 21. The chief of the Milano Center for the Study of the Juche Idea who doubles as official representative of the Italian Branch of the Korean Friendship Association was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il to mark the Day of the Shining Star. |
