Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Hungary

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Hungarian preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Budapest on Jan. 21. Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to fix the celebration period from Jan. 21 to April 17 and hold diverse events in praise of the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the capital and local areas. |
