Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Tajikistan

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Tajik preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Dushanbe on Jan. 21. Sh. Shabdolov, chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to arrange diverse political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il to mark the Day of the Shining Star. |
