Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Uganda

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A Ugandan national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was inaugurated in Kampala on Jan. 21. Henri Masico, department director of the Ugandan Presidency, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to arrange a meeting, photo exhibition, film show and other diverse political and cultural events to mark the Day of the Shining Star. |
