DPRK Has Access to Nuclear Deterrent by Itself: Egyptian Newspaper
Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- The Jan. 13th issue of the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram carried an article on the DPRK's successful first H-bomb test.

It said that it is clear to everybody that the DPRK's H-bomb test is a matter pertaining to its right as it withdrew from the NPT already in 2003.

It went on:

Thanks to the DPRK's efforts for putting an end to the U.S. nuclear threat against it and realizing the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, the DPRK-U.S. Agreed Framework was adopted and agreements were made at the six-party talks. However, such agreements were reduced to the dead papers due to the U.S. and its followers. A particular mention should be made of the fact that the U.S. listed the DPRK as part of the "axis of evil" and designated the latter as a target of its preemptive nuclear strike and has gotten more frantic with its moves to stifle the DPRK.

Had the DPRK failed to have access to nuclear weapons, it would not have defended itself from the U.S. aggression but would have faced the same fate as Iraq's.

The permanent members of the UNSC have massively stockpiled nuclear weapons.

The DPRK had access to the nuclear deterrent by itself.
