Construction of School Buildings Makes Headway in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A work to build or expand school buildings is progressing rapidly in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK.

According to an official concerned, such project is aimed to provide better educational conditions in keeping with the enforcement of the universal 12-year compulsory education in the country.

Sosong District of the city finished the construction of a new building for Janggyong Primary School in a short span of time, while Moranbong District turned out to erect a building for Songbuk Primary School after completing the construction of Sohung and Minhung primary schools on an expansion basis.

Similar projects are being accelerated at a fast tempo in Taesong, Mangyongdae, Phyongchon and other districts, too, with a goal to finish them before the start of a new school year.

Meanwhile, Munhung Senior Secondary School in Taedonggang District has put the whole course of practice education on an IT basis.
