It discussed the issue of thoroughly implementing the tasks set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address for 2016.

Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the C.C., the women's union, made a report to be followed by speeches.

The reporter and speakers said that the historic New Year Address of the Marshal serves as a militant banner as it clearly indicates the tasks for this year and ways of glorifying the 7th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as a congress of victors and honor and ushering in the greatest heyday in building a thriving nation.

They called upon all the officials and members of the women's union to devotedly implement the important tasks set forth by the Marshal in his New Year Address and bring about a dramatic turn in the work of the women's union and thus make positive contributions to brilliantly adorning this year when the 7th Congress of the WPK is to be held.
