Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Kuwait

| Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- A Kuwaiti preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 21. Javid Ahmad, chairman of the Kuwait Asian Journalist Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from Jan. 21 to Feb. 16 and decided to give publicity to the exploits of Kim Jong Il and organize a seminar, lecture, film show and other various political and cultural events. |
