Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- A Romanian national preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed on Jan. 20. Constantin Rotaru, chairman of the Socialist Party of Romania, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize a seminar, film show and other political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il from Feb. 1 to 16 on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
