Present at the seminar were officials concerned, officials of the union and agricultural workers.

Its participants heard papers dealing with ways of adding shine to the exploits performed by the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu in founding the union and developing it, and bringing about a fresh turn in its work under the Songun leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the union, and other speakers said that the union whose origin was given in the flames of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle has successfully fulfilled its mission and duty on behalf of the era and revolution since its founding.

The road covered by the union is associated with the tireless efforts of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu who wisely led its work, attaching great importance to its development and role of the agricultural workers, they said.

Noting that Kim Jong Un's Songun leadership is a life of the union, they stressed that the union has rosy future for its development and the building of the socialist countryside when it remains true to the Songun politics of the Workers' Party of Korea.

They called for carrying out to the letter the party's policy of agricultural revolution under the uplifted banner of giving priority to self-development and thus making positive contributions to ushering in a golden age in building a thriving nation this year when the 7th Congress of the WPK is to be held.
