New Nutritive Fodder Additive Proves Successful
Pyongyang, January 28 (KCNA) -- The State Bacilli-Culture Institute under the State Academy of Sciences of the DPRK developed a new nutritive fodder additive for livestock.

It is made by means of fermenting agricultural and animal by-products.

Researchers of the institute succeeded in producing amino acid from animal by-products and settled several problems like the composition rate of fermentation organisms, method of their culture and production of substrates.

The additive is highly nutritious and capable of promoting enzyme activity and production of bioproducts, thus increasing the digestive and absorptive rate.

It has been applied to breeding swine, proving effective for raising immunity, cutting down fodder unit and boosting productivity.
