Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Romania

| Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star (birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il) was formed in Romania on Jan. 19. Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Romanian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events praising the feats of Kim Jong Il from Jan. 25 to Feb. 16. |
