S. Korean Authorities Accused of Making Humiliating Agreement with Japan on Issue of Sexual Slavery
Tokyo, January 28 (KNS-KCNA) -- The Union of Korean Students in Japan sent the south Korean embassy in Tokyo on Jan. 27 a statement lambasting the south Korean authorities' act of shielding the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

The statement said the Korean students studying in Japan couldn't repress their resentment as Koreans at the south Korean authorities' assertion that the issue of sexual slavery "found a final and irreversible solution" at the negotiations with the Japanese authorities on Dec. 28 last year.

The "agreement" mentioned neither legal responsibility nor reparation on the part of the Japanese government, the statement noted, and added:

However, the south Korean authorities made a humiliating "agreement" in utter disregard of the requirements of the times.

The statement demanded the south Korean authorities halt at once their treacherous acts of going against the will of the Korean nation.
