Lansana Komara, permanent secretary of the Guinean People's Assembly, said this at an inaugural ceremony of the Guinean preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star held in Conakry on January 23.

He went on:

I pay highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung and H.E. Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star.

Kim Il Sung is the great leader of the Korean people as he devoted all his life to the people.

Kim Jong Il is the great leader in the era of independence who made great contributions to the struggle for the people's happiness and global independence.

Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said it is of great significance for the DPRK and the world to significantly celebrate the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star.
