Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Kyrgyzstan

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on January 25. A. Usupbayev, chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgyz El" Republican Political Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to hold diverse political and cultural events praising Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
