DPRK Accedes to Svalbard Treaty

| Pyongyang, January 30 (KCNA) -- The DPRK acceded to the Svalbard Treaty on January 25 according to a decision of its government. Its accession to the treaty provided it with an international legal guarantee for conducting economic activities and scientific researches in the Svalbard Islands. |
