Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Ukraine

| Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Ukraine on Jan. 25. The chairperson of the Dnepropetrovsk branch of the Ukrainian "Treasured Sword of Songun" Association for the Study of the Juche Idea was elected chairperson of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
