Speakers including the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh, the president of the Bangladesh People's League, the chairman of the Bangladesh-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee and the chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea praised Kim Jong Il for performing immortal ideological and theoretical exploits and Songun leadership exploits, saying that the Day of the Shining Star is a significant holiday common to the Korean people and the world progressive peoples.

Kim Jong Il will be alive forever as the great sun of Songun, deeply revered by all people as he made great contribution to the cause of human independence.

The progressive media praised the DPRK for having access to H-bomb and expect that the U.S.-led imperialist forces would kneel down to the Korean people.

The president of the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea "Kanggye" of Colombia said that Kim Jong Il left as a legacy the great exploit guaranteeing the eternal foundation of socialist Korea and its bright future.
