Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Finland

| Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Helsinki, Finland on January 24. Juha Kieksi, international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League who doubles as chairman of the Finnish National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Pekka Kotkasaari, chairman of the Finland-Korea Society, were elected co-chairmen of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to organize colorful political and cultural events on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star. |
