Day of Shining Star to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed by the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism on January 23. Vadim Kudimin, director of the institute, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to significantly organize political and cultural events to praise the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his 74th birth anniversary. |
