S. Korean Workers Protest Labor Reform Guidelines
Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- South Korean workers waged anti-"government" actions in Seoul on Jan. 29 and 30 in protest against the authorities' unwarranted labor policy.

The south Korean Federation of Trade Unions held a rally for vowing an all-out struggle with the attendance of representatives of affiliated trade unions at the plaza of Seoul Railway Station on Jan. 29.

Speakers denounced the "government's labor reform" guidelines as the retrogressive revision of the labor law and anti-people bill killing economy.

They vowed to wage field action to annul the "government's" prejudiced policy of standing for the capital interests.

They pledged to judge the regime and political party pressing for the retrogressive revision of the labor law at the coming general elections in April.

The joint action headquarters made up of trade unions in the manufacturing field of the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Trade Unions also held a press conference in Seoul that day where they branded the guidelines on the retrogressive revision of the labor law as illegal.

10,000 workers belonging to the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions staged a rally outside the Seoul City Office on Jan. 30.
